On the Blue – Snapshots, Rum, and Stories

Our maiden voyage on Blue Wing was probably the most amazing thing Greg and I have ever done. I am so glad that we have had the opportunity to share our journey with images and words on this blog. We are really missing Blue Wing this summer while we are attending to all of our land-lubbing responsibilities, trying to raise some sailing funds, and visiting with friends here on the dirt. We can’t wait to get back on the water, take more pictures, and have more adventures to write about, but in the mean time we are working on a little photo show of some of our favorite snapshots from our four months in the Bahamas. Most of these pictures were never published in the blog. They will each be accompanied by a short story describing the scene, place, time, etc. All prints will be for sale, the proceeds of which will fund a rowing dinghy to replace our sadly defunct inflatable (poor Little Willy John).

The show is at Milltown Tavern in Cabbagetown on Saturday, August 18 at 7pm. Click here for a map. Milltown will be offering $2 Cayrum drink specials and complimentary Caribbean snacks. The show will probably be up for at least a week.

We hope to see you there!
