About Us
We are Greg and Duwan. in 2011 we sold all our stuff, rented our house, bought a 36 foot sailboat and set sail on a nomadic adventure that has taken us to the Bahamas and all across North America.
We gave up the boat in 2016 and currently we live in a self-converted cargo van traveling around on land searching for all the treasures this life and world have to offer.

Vermont is so full of good things to consume! Apple cider donuts, cute general stores with breakfast sandwiches, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and, of course, maple syrup and maple creemees! We probably gained 10 pounds in Vermont.
After visiting with friends we were on our way in Vermont. I found a website with a list of scenic drives. But after being in Vermont for a while I now know they are all scenic drives.
Van meet up!!!
We were so close we thought we'd go to Connecticut just to say we had been there. We slept there and did an activity so now we can check it off the list.
After Boston we found ourselves in Newport, Rhode Island for the afternoon so we took a stroll along the Cliff Walk. Cliffs and views of the Atlanta Ocean were expected. But then there were all freaking big houses.
One last pic from Boston. In our last few hours in the city as we were cutting across the Common to our T stop I suggested we go by the Public Garden Pond. Since we've become birders I love a pond because, you know, birds love ponds too.
My favorite sight during our stay in Boston. The Frank Gehry building on the MIT campus. What a total surprise. I had no idea who Gehry was or that this lovely building existed until we happened upon it.
Boston from the harbor. We are finishing up 6 days in the city. We have walked all over the place and I feel like we've hardly made a dent.
When we left Maine I wanted to go to New Hampshire - you know just to say I've been. I had no idea what to expect. It was Saturday so we went to an area in the White Mountain National Forest which has lots of camping options. We snagged a site after a visit to a few campgrounds. The next day we ended up driving down the Kancamagas Highway - a scenic trail - stopping at lovely overlooks, ponds, a gorge, a waterfall. Who knew New Hampshire had such beauty. I know now. An amazing surprise.
